Beyond hosting the annual European meeting, Berlin offers a unique opportunity to expand the congress format – positioning the 2030 edition as a potential EHS Congress, bringing together Europe, the Americas, Asia-Pacific and emerging hernia societies under one unified platform.

This would significantly strengthen the international profile and global leadership role of the European Hernia Society.
